Happy October Anjlart Friends,

I hope you are all well and ready for the weather to make its beautiful changes.  I can’t wait for the colors of
fall and the opportunity to warm up my home with a fire in the fireplace.

The newest painting you will find on the Anjlart website is titled
“5 Bodies”.  Let me explain.  I had not
painted in awhile and was feeling that horrible artist’s block.  I was talking on the phone to a friend who is
writing a movie and he said…”…now get off the phone and go paint!”  So I did.  I picked up the canvas
and reached for some items to trace.  Trace I did…and paint I did.  Within the day the painting was
complete.  The next day after my Physical Therapy/Reiki treatment I was telling my physical therapist/Yoga
instructor about the piece.  He looked at me and said…there are 7 Chakras and 5 Bodies then proceeded
to explain (The five Bodies are…Physical, Transformation, Translocation, Firey and Karma).  This
discussion got my attention since I am currently studying for my first level as a Reiki practitioner.  As many
of you know my artwork takes on its own direction so it is then how this (altered) quote came to mind.
“When the artist is ready the painting appears.”

Today I have been working on another piece that has taken my heart to a place I don’t believe it has ever
been before.  A couple of weekends ago I was blessed with an amazing reunion to the place of my heart,
Cambria.  It was a very emotional reunion for me since I had not been in four months.  The drive to
Cambria felt like a walk through fire.  Old memories of how I used it as a place to “get (run) away.”  Since I
live alone these days…”getting away” is a different kind of journey.  The fire was healing and yet brand
new as well.  The first night as I was driving back to the J.Patrick House (a wonderful B&B), something
caught my eye as my car curved to Burton Road. There through the trees was the most incredible (almost)
full moon.  The sight was breathtaking as tears began to flow.  The next day a special friend joined me and
on that evening the moon was complete.  Douglas and I sat on my favorite bench overlooking the rising
tide.  I felt an amazing sense of being “gifted” by the evening and kept asking if that bright light was the
moon on the ocean.  I began to paint this next piece and found (you will see) that my style is changing and I
don’t seem to know myself as this new artist.  Now that I have information on my page about this next
piece I know I must finish it this weekend and get it posted.  Please come back soon to see it.  I promise it
won’t be long.

The other most important information to post is that the next
Artist Way workshop will begin in just a few
weeks on Wednesday October 12.  This day/date has changed so please RSVP as soon as possible by
calling (661) 717-4828 or e-mail me at anjart@bak.rr.com.  I apologize for the change in dates.  (It seems
my new life is teaching me about how to be more flexible with myself. ;-)  Also note that those who will be
taking the course will need to decide if you would like to take the new
Walking in the World course or
repeat the original course.

Please visit my newly updated Bio page with photos from this summer’s adventures.
I can’t wait to hear from you.  Be well my friends.

Namaste,
Angeline/Anjlart
